Schüco AWS 70.HI – a system with various application possibilities

The Schüco AWS 70.HI aluminum window series, known for its high thermal efficiency, has been developed to meet the strict requirements of avalanche protection. The system has been successfully tested and verified by the accredited Austrian institution Holzforschung Austria, which rated it as a reliable solution according to the ÖNORM B 5301 standard, load class LS 15. In addition, the system is fully compatible with the Schüco ADS door program.

As part of the test, a three-part element consisting of two double-winged window units - one in a standard turn-and-tilt design, and the other with barrier-free access - was analyzed, as well as an additional fixed part with safety glass. The Schüco turn-and-tilt type fittings system is applied to both wings, while a segment with solid glazing is installed between them. It is a quality window system with a variety of solutions.
